Welcome to the University Christian Outreach Pittsburgh website!  University Christian Outreach (UCO) is an ecumenical group of young men and women seeking Christ together on our college campuses.  Our mission is to bring the Gospel to our campuses in a powerful way through our life together. We promote the unity of people who are Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, and Pentecostal to pray and worship together.  We seek to build unity among God’s people as Jesus prayed (John 17:20-23)

UCO is rooted in the core principles of the Christianity.  We worship together at our weekly prayer meetings and exercise the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Prayer meetings include variety of Scripture teaching, a testimony of our members, and several seminars and courses designed to enhance our walk with Christ.  We seek discipleship and living our Christian lives on a daily basis.  We also have a service project once a semester as a way to promote giving as Christ does (Matthew 25:40-45).

Along with prayer, worship, teaching and service, UCO encourages strong fellowship among its members.  We hold many social events and enjoy each others company.  Have a look at some of the events we’ve had in the past.
UCO Meetings are held Thursdays at 8:15 pm in the Cathedral of Learning at the University of Pittsburgh. Check out our calendar or subscribe to our Google Group to stay in touch with our latest events.
UCO is linked together with an international organization known as Kairos.  This includes other chapters of UCO and affiliated groups.  We are connected with brothers and sisters in Ann Arbor, MI; Lansing, MI; St. Paul, MN; Miami, FL; Columbus, OH; Warren, NJ; Ottawa, Canada; Monterrey, Mexico; London; Beirut, Lebanon; and Manila, Philippines just to name a few.  There are several events sponsored by Kairos which UCO attends throughout the year.  For more information, visit the Kairos web site.
